Healthy = Happy

And making sure we are passing along clear genes is the only way we work.  Each of our sires and dames are tested and cleared before mating.  We use PawPrints Genetics and test for Labrador Retriever related genetic diseases.  

We also check for things not covered by genetics such as Hip Dysplasia and Elbow Dysplasia, etc.  To that end, we certify each parent by OFA (Orthopedic Foundation for Animals) recommended tests for Labs.  

We work to make the healthiest puppies possible.  Irresponsible breeders, that do not check for these things, can produce dogs that suffer in pain and can have very shortened lives.  We want you to have a long and happy life with your dog.  A little higher cost now can save a bigger expense in the long run.  To that end, we take the extra steps to ensure your puppy has the healthiest beginning in life.
